'friend to the end'.

Miss you so much!

I miss you so much Grandad, some days more than others -- today seems to be one of the MORE days. I miss your phone calls, I miss you asking how the kids are, I miss you asking me what our weather's like (Haha --- that question was always a part of our conversations -- even if we'd just spoken an hour earlier), I miss you singing to me on my birthday (I think I miss that the most -- you did it for 36 years and NEVER MISSED ONE SINGLE YEAR), I miss seeing you light up when I walked into the room....even in the nursing home when you didn't know who many of your visitors were you always knew me..... I miss everything about you.

I love you Grandad!!!

Loving and missing you always,
Michelle

1 year since you left us....

Angels sang 'Amazing Grace',
The Lord came down and touched your face,
He held your hand and whispered slow,
'Come with Me, it's time to go'
The gates of Heaven opened wide,
The Angels lined up side by side,
A special person was on his way,
The day they took “Archie” away.

ALWAYS in my thoughts!
FOREVER in my heart!

I miss you so much Grandad.....I can't believe a whole year has passed.

I love you!

Love always,
Michelle

Loving & Missing you always

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too,
I think of you in silence I often speak your name
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part
God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart

My First Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights like Heaven's stars reflecting the snow.
The sight is so spectacular- please wipe away the tears
For I'm spending Christmas with Jesus this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear
But the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here
I have no words to tell you the joys their voices bring
For it's beyond description to hear the angels sing

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart
But I am not so far away, we really aren't apart.
So be happy for me dear ones you know I hold you dear
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I sent you each a special gift for my heavenly home above,
I sent you each a memory of my undying love.
After all love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other as my Father said to do.
For I can't count the blessing of love he has for each of you.
So have a merry Christmas and wipe away that tear.
Remember I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
